Spring 2025 Residence Hall Agreement

Note that the $100 deposit is due when sending agreement if that is not on file.  Starting Fall 2024, the housing deposit is $50 refundable/$50 non-refundable.

Do know that apartments operate on a waitlist, and if not offered, students required to live on campus will have to submit a residence hall agreement as well and be assigned within a residence hall.

First and second year students (less than 21 years of age or 60 UCM accepted credit hours) as well as new transfers (with less than 48 UCM accepted credit hours) are required to live on campus as part of the Board of Governors policy.

Apartment Applications

The process below is for apartment process for the upcoming academic year. Current students who meet apartment eligibility and wish to apply for any current apartment availability/waitlist can do so via MyCentral. The apartment application is located under the housing section in the Student Records and Registration menu. The application remains open for the upcoming fall and spring semesters for which a student may apply. Applications for Fall 2025-Spring 2026 are currently live. Applications for Fall 2026-Spring 2027 academic year will go live on December 2, 2025.

New Applications

 

New Student Apartment Application Process

Students who do not currently live in our on campus apartments can apply when apartment applications went live on December 2, 2024 at 8 am for the 2025-2026 academic year (including those for spring 2026). 

 

Applications for 2026-2027 will go live on December 2, 2025 at 8 am.

 

Visit our Apartment Living page to view requirements to live within our various apartments on campus.  By submitting an application, you will be placed on the apartment waitlist.  New students will be offered apartments on a first-come first serve basis based on the time of their submitted application.


The application remains open and offers on rolling basis including through Spring semester of the next academic year.

New applications will require $100 deposit at the time of submission (unless you previously submitted a residence hall agreement and it is currently on file).   Note that for Fall 2024 and beyond, the deposit amounts are split to $50 refundable, $50 non refundable.

Apartment Re-Application

 

Re-Sign for Current Apartment or Same Apartment Type

Students who do currently live in our on campus apartments and wish to remain in their SAME apartment or same apartment type (example, changing from your current 2 bedroom in The Crossing to another 2 bedroom) will come in to resign their agreement based on the timeline below.  Failure to re-sign agreement for the next year will cause students to lose their apartment and require to re-submit an application. 

Reapplication for apartments begins in spring semester (see timeline below)

 

Change Apartment Complex or Apartment Type

Students currently living in on-campus apartments already and wishing to relocate to a different on campus apartment complex, or different apartment type in their current complex (i.e. two bedroom to a four bedroom),  MUST re-apply and get on the wait list.  

 

Students who wish to move from one apartment complex to another can apply when apartment applications go live on December 2 at 8 am.

The application remains open and offers on rolling basis including through Spring 2025 (for the current 2024/2025 academic year) and will follow the same process for 2025/2026.

The Crossing

  • January 14-17:  Current residents of The Crossing wishing to stay in their same apartment complete agreement
  • January 21-22:  Current residents of The Crossing wishing to move to another apartment within The Crossing  complete agreement for different apartment
  • January 28:  Apartments will begin being offered to new applications on a rolling basis via email for The Crossing (offered based on time application is received)

*Current residents wishing to re-apply for their same apartment or different apartment within their current complex must complete new agreement in-person at the University Housing office located in Ellis Complex, L23.

Foster-Knox/ Nickerson / Todd Apartments

  • February 10-12:  Current residents of Foster-Knox/Nickerson/Todd Apartments wishing to stay in their same apartment complete agreement
  • February 13-14:  Current residents of Foster-Knox/Nickerson/Todd Apartments wishing to move to another apartment within their current apartment complex complete agreement for different apartment
  • February 17:  Apartments will be begin being offered on a rolling basis to new applications via email for Foster-Knox/Nickerson/Todd Apartments  (offered based on time application is received)

*Current residents wishing to re-apply for their same apartment or different apartment within their current complex must complete new agreement in-person at the University Housing office located in Ellis Complex, L23.

Greenwood Park / Central Village Apartments

  • March 3-13:  Current residents of Greenwood Park/Central Village wishing to stay in their same apartment complete agreement
  • March 17:  Apartments will be offered to new applications on a rolling basis  via email for Greenwood Park/Central Village (offered based on time application is received)

*Current residents wishing to re-apply for their same apartment or different apartment within their current complex must complete new agreement in-person at the University Housing office located in Ellis Complex, L23.

Students are highly encouraged to continue with residence hall room selection process if they are placed on the apartment waiting list to still have the highest chance of their first-choice residence hall living space. Visit our Pricing Information page to view the various rates for residence hall living. Please note that the UCM Board of Governors does not approval room/board rates until later in the spring semester.

Reapplication Timeline for 2025-2026

Step 1:

Complete your on-campus housing agreement on MyCentral by February 10th to be eligible for the first round of online sign-ups/selection

 

Step 2:

Sign up on the date that applies to you to choose your room, roommate, and/or suitemates (instructions will be emailed to students).  To see full residence hall living options, visit our Residence Hall Living page.

Re-Application Timeline

Important Room Sign-Up/Selection Dates:

  • February 10:  Last day to submit your housing agreement to be eligible for the FIRST round of online room sign-up/selection  

  • February 20-23:  Room retention sign-up (if you want to keep your current room) for those who currently reside on a floor that will be designated an upper-class floor next year.  

  • February 27:  Online open sign-up/selection begins for those who submitted agreements by February 10th (open selection to live in any residence hall on campus)

  • March 18:  Online open sign-up/selection continues on a first-come, first-served basis for those who submit agreements after February 10th

  • April 09:  Last day to pick your room online
