Public Relations professionals work at the intersection of business and strategic communication as the 鈥渧oice behind the voice.鈥 We are everywhere, keeping an organization鈥檚 story front and center to help it achieve goals like selling products, connecting people, changing history and setting pathways to new adventures. At the University of Central Missouri, you鈥檒l learn how to achieve this by telling and sharing stories through words, speech, imagery, timing and more to help people, businesses and organizations be heard. Prepare for a career in PR at UCM with a business-oriented bachelor鈥檚 degree 鈥 that has fewer math requirements.
A PRSA-certified bachelor鈥檚 degree focused on strategy, skills and success
To keep up with the changing needs of employers, media outlets and publics, our Bachelor of Science in Public Relations and Strategic Communication program continues to evolve.
