UCM relies on information systems and technology resources to perform daily operations vital to achieving the University's mission. Information Security designs, implements, and maintains an information security program to protect the University's systems, services, and data from unauthorized use, disclosure, modification, and/or loss.

UCM's Information Security Team is committed to safeguarding the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the University's information systems and technology resources in a manner which strikes a balance between the functional needs of academic disciplines and administrative units against risks to information systems and technology resources.
