International Student Services

 

Welcome to International Student Services (ISS) at the University of Central Missouri. We are here to support and guide international students. We look forward to assisting you with the application process, admissions, and enrollment, and will provide you with support throughout your studies and after program completion.

 

What We Do

International Admissions - Graduate and Undergraduate

From the application process all the way through your OPT experience, you will receive support from our knowledgeable staff regarding SEVP rules and regulations.

You can count on our office to provide you timely updates regarding your application and any clarification you might need on the required documents.

Our Admissions Advisor/Recruiters and International Student Advisors/DSOs' work with you individually to ensure you have the documents you need for your visa interview.

Exchange and Sponsored Student Support

If you are coming to UCM through a sponsoring organization as a sponsored student, or you are working with one of our exchange partner institutions we will assist you every step of the way.

From preparing your I-20 or DS2019, to airport pickup upon arrival and new student orientation, through travel I-20s and more, our Exchange and Sponsored Students Coordinator is here for you.

Our personalized visa guidance does not end with your initial I-20.

We are here to support you and assist you in making wise choices to maintain your visa status and ensure your success at UCM.

Campus Security Policy

In accordance with the Jeanne Cleryy Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Act:

University of Central Missouri's Annual Security and Fire and Safety Report. This report includes statistics for the previous three years of incidents of crime and emergency situations that occurred on-campus; in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by the University of Central Missouri; and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from, the campus. The report also includes information regarding crime prevention programs, fire statistics, a listing of safety tips, alcohol and drug policies, sexual assault education prevention programs, emergency response, and resources that are available to the campus community in emergencies. You may obtain a paper copy of this report by contacting the UCM Department of Public Safety or by accessing their website.
