Java Software Development with Remote Worker

A developer working at a computer

Start your career in software development

The University of Central Missouri’s Java Software Development with Remote Worker certificate program has been designed to provide a platform to help students with no prior programming background get into the rapidly growing technology industry using Java development skills. This program teaches students the principles behind programming languages and software development so students have the skills to learn new frameworks and languages more quickly on the job in the future.

Additionally, this program teaches students how to work both in enterprise technology teams and remotely from home. To further empower the student, the students will use technology tools, software, tips and tricks that most organizations use today.

The projected job openings for software developers stands at 131,400 by 2029 and median pay is $91,210, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Through this program, students earn an industry-recognized certificate and continuing education units which may not be applied to a degree program and are not eligible for federal financial aid.
