Required and Elective Courses

This graduate certificate requires 18 credit hours.   The program includes required courses in modern algebra, analysis and topology as well as electives in number theory, graph theory, combinatorics, and statistics. Admission Criteria and Cost

The admission requirement is an undergraduate degree in mathematics (or equivalent coursework) with at least a 3.0 GPA in upper level mathematics courses. Occasionally we offer conditional admission to students not quite meeting these criteria.
